I'm Dr. Chad Geri, the owner of Compassionate Care Mobile Veterinary Service, providing mobile veterinary care and in-home euthanasia in Olathe, Overland Park, and throughout Johnson County. We are a local, family-owned business and the longest running mobile vet clinic in the Kansas City area, serving thousands of clients and their pets. Yet I continue to make it a priority to provide attentive, personal service to all of my clients. Many local vet clinics are being sold to large corporations and being transformed into something like an assembly line: Clients are hurried in and out, spend almost no time with the vet, and the priority is to maximize the revenue of the clinic rather than to provide superior care and build a relationship of mutual trust. On the other hand, I continue to believe that the personal relationship between veterinarian and client is vital to good medicine. It's important to me to provide close attention, genuine compassion, and to be as honest as possible, as I serve my clients and their pets. Convenience. Mobile veterinary care will save you time and avoid the headache of transporting your pet to a veterinary clinic, as well as long times spent in the waiting room, by having your animal examined and treated in the comfort of your own home, at a time that’s convenient for you.
Personalized care. At many clinics, the veterinarians are busy with multiple patients at the same time, so the time you get to spend with the veterinarian is often limited. With mobile veterinary care you can enjoy relaxed, unrushed time directly with the veterinarian. Dr. Geri will provide your pet with his complete, undivided care and attention for the duration of his visit.
Reduced stress. A visit to the vet can be an incredibly stressful, even traumatic, experience for many pets (not to mention their owners). The car ride, strange sights and sounds of the waiting room, and unfamiliar surroundings produce significant anxiety in many animals, which is especially undesirable in animals that already may not be feeling well. It can also cause your pet to mask certain signs and symptoms, making evaluation and diagnosis more difficult. Mobile veterinary care provides a comfortable, relaxed environment for your pet, which can result in a more accurate diagnosis and/or more effective treatment. In home euthanasia will also provide a stress-free experience for you and your pet in their final moments.
Better health. Avoid the hazard of sitting in a waiting room with your pet next to someone else’s sick animal. By remaining at home and letting the veterinarian come to you, you eliminate the risk of your pet contracting an illness from exposure to a sick animal.
